Location and Timing: 103 Valley View Drive, Rockaway.  This site is two single family homes. Everyone participating must be registered and secured their spot in the portal to get important information regarding the build. Our build day is 8:30am-4:00pm with a break for lunch at 12:00pm. Parking is tight, and we are asking everyone to park at 100 White Meadow Road and carpool to site (community center.)


Tasks: There is NO experience necessary to build with Morris Habitat for Humanity. We hope that each volunteer is willing to do whatever is required on that day. You may be handling a hammer, paintbrush, broom or shovel, or assisting in activities associated with the logistics of construction projects.  No matter what you are doing, it is a necessary job and appreciated. Currently in the variuous stages of outdoor work; Framing, siding and roofing. 


Attire and What to bring: Dress in layers for indoor or outdoor work. For your safety, please wear thick material pants and thick soled sneakers. Long pants are required to prevent cuts/scrapes.
